Today is another busy day at work but at least those pesky bangs are succesfully braided and out of my face...Ooh and I have on a cute scarf! Add in that there is a new Greys Anatomy tonight and a few breathing excercises and I think I'll make it through the day! Wish me luck!!!

Help!

So lovely blog readers in just over a week I will be headed to India for not one but two weddings! Incase you were wondering it is INCREDIBLY hot right now and well I don't think my hair will react so nicely to it! See this is how I normally wear my hair:

and this is what my hair actually wants to do (with the help of some leave in conditioner and gel...otherwise it's a mess!)

So I'm packing the hair straighter but don't know if it will be able to work it's magic in that humidity so I am looking for some simple hair styles...perfect for on the go to make life easier admist all the chaos!

I'm also looking into some fun floral hair pins to glam up an updo because if all else fails that is what I will resort to!

New Bag!

So in search of the perfect traveling bag I stopped in at the Crabtree & Evelyn at our local mall. I wanted to check out their selection of Vera Bradley bags and see if I could find something large enough and on sale for a 22 hour flight! I browsed through everything they had but I'm fussy when it comes to bags and I didn't find anything I like until I saw this!

It was the perfect size, it passed the elbow test and it wasn't heavy like the U.S. Luggage bag I normally travel with and even better it was on sale! I opened it up to check out pockets and such inside and I there was a little surprise inside...Can you guess what it was??

A diaper changing pad!!! Yep the bag I had picked out was actually a baby bag!!! But in my defense it doesn't look like one does it?? So I put it back disappointed and left the store. I looked around for some more options this was the only one I liked. I'm really bad like that once I've seen something I like NOTHING else seems to compare or measure up :( So I'm now the owner of one Vera Bradley Baby Bag....does anyone need a changing pad???

So I am almost completely caught up with my Project 365 I cheated a little and made out a list of images for the days that I had not participated and then took them over the last few days...So far it's actually been really fun and you would be amazed at how you look at things a little closer to see if that should be your picture for the day! Thundi=cold! Speaking of warm sweaters I can't decide if I like these capes from Forever 21 or not. They look so fun and I really do have a weakness for shawls/wraps. The only problem is I think I would need to try it on and half the stuff that is on the Forever 21 website is never in the store.

Don't get me wrong purple is my absolute favorite color but I can't picture my husband in these!

In other news I am still miserably sick and at work....Tomorrow is Trick or Suite so tonight will be spent transforming clay pots into gum drops for the gum drop path.....Our theme is Candy Land and I am supposed to look like this:

So for almost always my style has been pretty classic, not anything too bold just colors that I felt suited me, interesting necklines, and overall subtle. I don't know if I've been watching too much Gossip Girl or what lately but latest purchases seem to be drifting far away from classic and subtle!

I use this to carry my camera so it doesn't get all banged up in my purse....

I never wear yellow but this sweater was super cute and warm!

I bought this jacket in the pinkish magenta version.....

I am still not sure about this wallet, sometimes I like it and sometimes I feel like it's too much...what do you guys think?? Lastly this pretty coach wristlet my friend bought me for my birthday....it's the perfect size to fit your camera, cell phone, and some lip gloss for a day out in the city!

As I was posting this I remembered a post I read over at Jeune Marie....I totally think that part of my being a bit bolder with my clothes now is the fact that Jay completely loves it when I choose something a little on the funky side instead of sticking with the classic looks! It definitely encourages me to try out something new and fun instead of the boring basics!
