It's raining it's pouring and I want some rain boots! Actually I've wanted them for awhile but I haven't been able to justify buying them to myself....So until then some window shopping fun!

I don't know about you but I always tend to wear something comfy and black on a rainy day...these are a cute way to add a burst of color!

These are just WAY too cute! I love the whimsical little bird on them.....Perfect for jumping in puddles!

Pizza Night

On nights that my mom worked late my brother and I would always wonder what to make for dinner....This quickly became one of our favorite things to do and now I also love making it with Jay and my cutie pie nephews also....It's a quick and easy fix to what's for dinner...you can make whatever flavor combination you like and when it comes out all hot and bubbly from the oven you'll be in heaven! For my nephews I normally get the smaller pizza crusts and let them create their own pizza...that solves the complaints of it not being what they wanted because they made it :)

Start with a Boboli Crust

A jar of Classico Sauceand whatever toppings you like! In my house onion and a jalapeno are a big favorite as well as black olive and mushrooms. The last one we made was a little more adventurous and instead of sauce we used Pesto, Fresh Mozzarella, and Tomato....So DELICIOUS!

With just a sprinkle of garlic salt it was yummy! Next time I want to try a white pizza with Ricotta and Broccoli....

Fun Fact about me: When it comes to just regular pizza meaning red sauce, cheese, and topping I love it with Ranch Dressing!

Our bedspread on Rebecca's bed on last Sunday's episode of Brother's and Sisters! Yes I know it's purple and I swear I didn't force Jay to like this one it was the ONLY one we both liked believe it or not. Also the carpet in our bedroom was purple when we moved in :) so I had nothing to do with that either! I was pretty excited to see our sheets and pillows on tv! Sounds silly right?

Magically Delicious

I have an affinity for kiddie cereals....Being a vegetarian at college sometimes meant cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner....I didn't gain the freshman 15 I lost it! When you are in college though cereal is still acceptable as a meal choice. I on the other hand am 24 and still love Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams mixed, and I guess somewhat adult like Honey Nut Cheerios. I also love the Special K fruit and yogurt but that box is way to small for when I go on a cereal binge and want to eat it all the time! My most favorite is Lucky Charms and I had a HUGE bowl of it for dinner yesterday and it totally hit the spot! What cereal are you addicted to???

Monday Glow :)

As I've said before on a daily basis the only makeup you'll find on my face is the Time Balm concealer and whichever one of the 5 C.O. Bigelow lip glosses that seems appealing that day! Every once in awhile if I get stuck in traffic then I'll have on some bronzer but for daily use that's exciting as it gets! I don't ever use powder and the only time I've used foundation besides the wedding is when I used to model. I've had my eyes on this Mineralize Skinfinish from MAC though and I thought it would be a great way to add a subtle touch of shimmer to my daily face. I finally picked some up last Thursday and it is so much fun! Just a few brushes of this onto you cheek look so minimal but definitely give you a glow. It works as an all over, brow highlighter, or you can use it to define your cheek bones. It makes a perfect addition to my make essentials that I carry in my bag!

While I was there I also bought this purpely eyeshadow which the lady said would look great with green eyes. I also got to try this out on Saturday and I absolutely loved it!

The mineralize powder definitely made my sleepy face look a little more bright and cheery this morning :) Saturday was a ton of fun and I will post pictures soon!
